Shaughna from Love Island reveals that she is secretly best friends with Jonathan Ross’ honey
She has stolen the hearts of a nation on this year’s winter love island.
And Shaughna Phillips, 25, revealed Tuesday that she is best friends with 59-year-old Jonathan Ross’s daughter Honey on Instagram.
Honey, 22, appeared on ITV’s Lorraine earlier in the day to talk about how she felt pressure to lose weight while growing up in a ‘toxic’ industry because of her parents.
Who would have thought? Love Island star Shaughna Phillips went to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that Jonathan Ross’ daughter Honey is her best friend
But says she now has more confidence in size 18 than her slender friends.
Shaughna was obviously very proud of her friend when she went to Stories to post a photo of Honey on her TV.
She wrote exaggerated: “Yasssssss Queen … that’s my best friend guys.”
Sweet: Shaughna and Honey are not shown together on Instagram and it is unknown how they know each other
An important topic: Honey spoke about body confidence with Lorraine Kelly earlier in the day
No doubt she was proud of Honey as she said some pretty inspiring things during the show.
The BSomeone’s image activist claimed to have more self-confidence than “all her thin friends” and said three of them were “nearly dead” after fighting eating disorders.
Honey explained that although her friends have the kind of body that “likes society,” she feels more confident in her skin, and revealed that three of them had “really life-threatening eating disorders.”
Honey said that, although it wasn’t her parents’ intention, the industry in which she grew up was “pretty toxic” and she never met anyone who “looked like her.”
Meanwhile, Honey undoubtedly supported Shaughna during her recent stay on Love Island.
She was eliminated from the show shortly after her love, Callum Jones, 23, returned from Casa Amor with the new girl Molly Smith, 25, leaving Shaughna saddened.
Not ideal: Shaughna was left smoking on Love Island when her love, Callum, returned from Casa Amor with Molly
