A popular food has been recalled over fears the product may contain a hidden allergy.

Love Raw Peanut Butter Cups products have been urgently removed from supermarket shelves with a harmful gluten substance believed to be inside the food.

It is understood that the substance is also undeclared.

Love Raw Peanut Butter Cups in the M:lk Chocolate Flavor is the affected food product that contains the substance.

Products with expiry dates of February 7 and February 9, 2024 are being recalled urgently.

Love Raw Peanut Butter Cups, also available in white chocolate flavor, are also affected.

Items with expiration dates of July 12, August 28, 2023 and February 15, 2024 are also being recalled.
