Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips rushes baby daughter Lucia to hospital after being struck down with a ‘temperature’ and ‘sickness’

Shaughna Phillips revealed she had to drive her daughter Lucia to hospital after being struck down with an illness on Monday.

The former Love Island star, 29, took to Instagram to share Lucia, 10 months, fell ill with a ‘temperature and sickness’ and had to make an emergency trip to A&E.

Sharing a photo of her daughter, who is now back home, she wrote: ‘Tired mum and baby here. We had such a long day yesterday and didn’t get home until late.

‘And then 30 minutes after putting Lucia to sleep, she was sick everywhere and had a substitute. Absolutely nothing worse than seeing her like that! Didn’t end up sleeping until 1am so today is a movie day followed by lots of cuddles and naps.’

After a few hours, Shaughna shared a health update with her fans, writing: ‘Had a long day in ER. Grateful to be home with my baby, lots of love from mum.’

The TV star shares Lucia with her disgraced ex-boyfriend Billy Webb, who was jailed for nine years for conspiring to supply 4.5kg of cocaine, worth at least £360,000, after being caught in a drug bust.

He was charged with one count of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and one count of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs on January 21 last year.

It comes after Shaughna admitted she is in ‘such a bad place’ as she opened up about life’s struggles as a single mum.

The mother-of-one spoke candidly about not being happy with her life and said she feels ‘guilty’ about the way she feels, in a candid Instagram post.

In a ‘day in the life’ video, Shaughna shared a series of clips capturing everyday moments.

As the series of daily moments continued, Shaughna added a blunt monologue in the background.

‘Sorry I’m not my usual chirpy self at the moment, I’ll be back but LAWD life is doing a number on me at the moment. Tomorrow a new day,’ she wrote for the post.

In many moments from the video, the reality star can be seen visibly unhappy and discouraged.

Kicking off her candid confession, Shaughna began warning her followers: ‘Good evening. Sorry, this is going to be f*****g depressing, so if you’re already in a bad mood, I’d probably skip this already, because I don’t want to cheer you up.

‘I’ve been filming a day like that with me for four days and I’ve never finished it because I’m in such a bad place. I feel like you can see it on my face, I’m just not happy.

“And I feel like there’s probably a ton of reasons and I feel so guilty because I have such an angel baby that should be making me happy every day but right now I’m just not.”

‘I feel like the only time I’m happy is because she’s with me and I just love her so much.’

‘You know what they say, hard times don’t last, hard people do, can’t enjoy the sun without a little rain, god gives these toughest battles to the strongest soldiers.

‘You know what? I’m done being a strong soldier. I’m ready to be soft,” Shaughna concluded, adding, “Anyway… I’m with you, tomorrow is a new day.”
