‘The hard work begins now’: Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins speaks out for the first time since returning home from the villa
It has been two days since she was dumped from the Love Island villa along with Maxwell Samuda.
And Olivia Hawkins broke her silence when she told fans the ‘real journey begins now’ as she landed back in the UK from Mallorca.
Returning to Brighton, the reality star, 27, came home with a pink and white balloon from her family with the sweet message ‘So proud of you’ on it.
The reality star shared a photo of it with her 173,000 followers on Instagram, writing:
‘Safe at home! Thank you all for your lovely messages of support while I was at the villa, so good to be reunited with friends and family. Lots of love, Olivia.”

The former backup dancer also uploaded a picture of a postcard she received from the flight crew.
The handwritten note read: “Hello lovebirds, so glad you are on board today.
‘We hope you enjoyed your adventures in South Africa.
“We wish you all the best and love for the future.”
Acknowledging that her new relationship had just begun, Olivia wrote the story, “Thanks to the KML crew for making our journey home so special, but the real journey begins now Maxwell.” She ended the post with a heart hands emoji.
After being voted the least compatible couple by the public, Olivia and Maxwell were dumped from the ITV2 show on Wednesday night.
Since getting the shoe, Maxwell told ITV: ‘We’ve talked about our first date. We had an appointment at the villa, but we discussed what we would like to do outside and when we can.
“We also want to meet each other’s friends and family.”

He added, “I’m definitely the one planning it. I was thinking maybe a nice little sushi place and some drinks.”
Olivia, who attended the same musical theater as former Spice Girl Mel C, previously admitted she had never found love.
Before entering the villa, she said, “I’m 27 and I’ve never been in a relationship before, so I feel like I’m really ready to settle down now and hopefully find the love of my life.”
On why she was single, she added: “By choice and maybe because I’ve had commitment issues in the past — but I’d say mostly it’s the wrong guy, the wrong time.”
The boxing ring girl and finance student were not only dumped from the villa by a public vote, but were also told they could choose another couple to evict from the group.
They chose Carl Fogarty’s daughter Claudia and her partner Keanan Brand.
