Laura Anderson is reportedly moving to Dubai for good after relentlessly trading online since traveling to the UAE in the midst of the pandemic.
The former Love Island star, 31, is said to have felt ‘lonely’ since returning to the UK and always seeing Dubai as her home.
A source said The sun: ‘Laura has decided it is time to move back to Dubai for good. She struggled during the lockdown and felt a little lonely for being away from her friends and sister.

‘She has always seen Dubai as her home. She plans to bring her dog and wants to go as soon as possible.

The insider added that Laura wants to push the recent criticism ‘behind her’ and start over in Dubai and have some business ideas in store.

Last month, Laura broke down in tears after admitting she had lost work because of the backlash she faced after her pre-lockdown trip.
The star couldn’t hide her emotions in an interview where she confessed that the controversy surrounding her trip to Dubai was the ‘hardest thing she’s ever faced’.
Laura was one of many reality stars and influencers criticized by fans and Home Secretary Priti Patel for traveling to Dubai prior to the December COVID lockdown, declaring their flights as ‘business trips’.
In a speech about Nicki Chapman’s Talking Success, as reported by The Sun, Laura tearfully confessed that she was struggling to cope with the trolls she flew with to the United Arab Emirates, while the UK is still a travel corridor with the country had.

She said, “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever dealt with. It was so hard to stand up for myself. I understand the whole pandemic, I am not a stupid little girl.
‘It’s really hard and it’s still going on. It was a very difficult decision to get over it. I’ve lost followers, I’ve lost jobs. It made me think about my future in this industry. ‘
Laura clarified that while she posted many of her Instagram snaps when England entered lockdown in January, she legally flew to Dubai while the UAE had a flight with the UK.
The star insisted she return home before the government introduced a ban on international travel.

Regardless, she was one of many stars who claimed their trips were for business reasons and thus did not violate the coronavirus rules.
Laura was forced to turn off comments on her Instagram posts after being ruthlessly cheated on her break, which she insisted on staying with her sister as she couldn’t bear to spend another lockdown alone in Scotland .
The star said she plans to move to Dubai permanently to start a business but did not want to share her plans while abroad.
Laura was one of many influencers who faced furious online reactions for flying abroad at the height of Covid’s travel restrictions, claiming it was a ‘business trip’.
Prior to the lockdown, government guidelines stated that travel abroad should only be allowed for “essential work reasons.”

Laura shared her thoughts on the backlash during an Instagram Q&A after being asked if she felt guilty about being in Dubai.
She said, “I felt guilty all the time. I don’t think anyone realized how bad the tension was going to get or how quickly. So when I heard people upset I felt terrible. ‘
In a caption to the post, she added: ‘The backlash was terrible and still is. I don’t expect anyone to understand my situation.
“My apologies to everyone I’ve upset, I really mean that, because I never meant to.”
Laura had previously been forced to remove some of the comments about her sun-kissed bikini snaps after getting backlash for sharing her exploits.
