Faye Winter has revealed she is back on the dating scene following her split from Teddy Soares last year.
The former Love Island star, 28, has spent the last few months focusing on herself and now feels confident enough to enjoy dating again.
speaking to Mirror, Faye shared: ‘Last year, I committed to not interacting with the opposite sex at all. Now I’m dating again and really enjoying it.
‘It’s a new experience for me to walk into a restaurant and meet someone for a drink. I value having my own space but I also want to meet someone new.’
The blonde bombshell, who rose to fame on the reality dating show in 2021, went on to say that last year she had to take time to focus on herself, which meant not talking to or looking at men.

When asked about returning to Love Island, Faye expressed doubts but admitted it helped her “grow and become more vulnerable”, which is a huge strength.
“I’m grateful for the experience, but I don’t know if I’d like to date on such a public platform again,” she said. ‘Never say never, but maybe not!’
Faye’s newfound confidence comes after her bitter split from her ex-boyfriend and former Love Islander, Teddy Soares.

Faye, who is a passionate Guide Dogs UK campaign star, revealed her life was completely turned upside down after announcing her “heartbreaking and difficult” split in February 2023 with Teddy, after a year and a half of dating.
She said: ‘Last year I had the option to do other parts (reality shows) but I said it wasn’t the right time for me. I always think that time is very important.
‘I needed to focus last year on myself. My well-being, my health and that’s why I prioritized it, and it was the best decision I have ever made.

And he added: ‘I lost a lot of weight. I was in a really bad, horrible place. It’s happened to all of us, but for me I really had to block out the noise or I could have taken a different path.
“I will never look back and regret putting myself first, that’s something I’m very proud of.” I could have gained more followers, but I just don’t mind doing that or being on that side of things.’
She added: ‘I lost a lot of weight. I was in a really bad, horrible place. We’ve all been there, but in my case, I really had to block out the noise or I could have taken a different path.
‘I didn’t want to post (on social media). I really didn’t want people to know what was going on in my life. I really had to focus on myself and what makes me happy.
‘I needed to take a few steps back and then take several steps forward. Sometimes you can’t see the light through the darkness and it seems like it will never end. Time is a great healer.’
She continued: ‘I have definitely found my happiness. I’ve definitely become a lot more independent because it got to a point where I wouldn’t even leave my house alone.
‘My dog is my reason and she has given me a reason on my lowest days. She is the love of my life right now. I have loved her when she didn’t want to love myself. And ultimately, that allowed me to love myself and get out.”

He recalled: ‘I remember once messaging someone while I was in a relationship. And to me, this person was just an acquaintance…the couple he was with was really unhappy.’
After the split, Faye confessed that they were both in ‘different places’ and wanted opposite things, which put a strain on their relationship (pictured on Love Island in 2021).
Speaking during her podcast, Teddy Talks, the TV personality turned heads when she talked about a “previous relationship,” although she didn’t specify who she was with.
In a discussion about boundaries, Teddy and his brother Sidney discussed how couples should make each other aware of their boundaries and rules in a relationship.
He recalled: ‘I remember once messaging someone while I was in a relationship. And for me this person was just an acquaintance.’
Teddy continued: ‘This person was someone I know. We know each other.
‘I sent them a message asking about their plans for Halloween. I think I might have asked this person, “Are you going to dress up as a devil or an angel? What are you thinking?”
“And I remember the couple I was with at the time were very unhappy about this.”
Sidney asked: ‘And why do you think your partner at the time would not have been happy?
‘I can jump? I’m not your partner, I can’t even imagine what it would be like to be your partner… but if I were on the other side of that…
‘This is what she might be thinking. —So you’re thinking about what she’s wearing right now. And it could be a devil costume.
Teddy replied: ‘It was completely innocent. It was literally to figure out a plan for Halloween. I usually don’t celebrate because I’m out of my comfort zone.
‘When I asked it was innocent, because let’s face it… dressing up on Halloween, you do it to look a little sexy or stand out. I’m not asking to be provocative. She was asking as if to say, “I’m going to steal your idea.”
Sidney added: “Whether I agree with that question or not, that doesn’t matter.” You mentioned that communication was key and at that moment you knew where the limits were in that relationship.’
“Yes, I’ve learned from that,” Teddy concluded.
Following his split from Faye, Teddy dated model Casey Boonstra and first revealed that he was “really into her” in October 2023.
However, just a few months later in January, he announced that he was single after ending their romance.
In May, Faye exclusively revealed to MailOnline Faye the real reason behind his surprise was breaking up with Teddy.
Faye confessed that they were both in “different places” and wanted opposite things, which put a strain on their relationship.
She said: ‘It’s been very obvious, especially in the last few months, we just wanted different things. We were just in different places.
‘And you know, relationships… they’re difficult, you know, they’re difficult things to maintain. People go through breakups every day. People suffer distress every day.
‘It’s just part of life and it’s a really difficult situation to go through. I am not ready. I don’t know if I’ll ever be ready to fully reveal what happened between us because that’s between Teddy and me.
Following his split from Faye, Teddy dated model Casey Boonstra (pictured), and first revealed that he was “really into her” in October 2023. They split in January.
