A Love Island star announced her engagement with a snap post after surprising her partner with a lavish proposal and a huge diamond ring.
Mike Boateng, who appeared on the winter series of the ITV2 show in 2020, took to Instagram on Monday after popping the question to his stunning girlfriend.
The former police officer, 29, shared a series of snaps, but did not reveal the identity of his now fiancée, as he hid his face behind a beautiful purchase of red roses while showing off the sparkler in his left hand.
Mike surprised the future Mrs Boateng with a dessert during their elegant meal, and written in chocolate on the plate were the words: ‘Will you marry me?’
The lovebirds could then be seen hugging each other before the bride-to-be showed off her beautiful ring in more detail.
Mike captioned the snaps with the date of his proposal on December 21, as well as a proverb that read: “Commit everything you do to the Lord and he will establish your plans.”

Mike split from Priscilla Anyabu, whom he met on Love Island back in 2020, after 15 months of dating.
They lost the chance to win the show to Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, who took home the £50,000 prize before splitting after three years of dating.
During his stay in the villa, Mike was paired with Leanna Amaning before being stolen by Jess Gale and moved on to Sophie Piper and then Pricilla, before being kicked off the island just days before the final.
It comes a day after fellow Islander Rosie Williams, 33, who appeared on the show in 2018, took to Instagram to reveal that her handsome partner Sam Tankard had proposed to her.
Rosie doesn’t show her partner on social media and keeps their relationship mostly private.
Covering Can’t Help Falling in Love, one video showed Rosie’s boyfriend getting down on one knee against the stunning backdrop of the ocean.
The proposal took place on the luxurious Velaa Private Island in the Maldives, where room prices start at £5,365 per night.
She looked stunning in a ruffled white bridal dress and increased her height with heels for the special day.

Rosie simply captioned the post with the date of the proposal: ‘17.12.2024’.
Her Love Island co-stars, including Hayley Hughes and Samira Mighty, were quick to congratulate her on the news in the comments.
Rosie was best known for her tumultuous relationship with Adam Collard on the show.
Last year, Rosie warned Adam’s now-pregnant fiancée Laura Woods about his toxic behavior and insisted the sports presenter is “too good for him”.
Rosie, who starred in the 2018 series with Adam, 29, told MailOnline it seemed her former love had not matured, judging by her TV appearance on Celebs Go Dating and her return to Love Island in 2022.
Charity Women’s Aid accused Adam of ’emotional abuse’ during his first season on the ITV2 soap after he appeared to ‘smile’ when he dumped Rosie for Strictly star Zara McDermott.
And after breaking the rules of Celebs Go Dating last year by sleeping with co-star Lottie Moss, Rosie feared Adam could still go back to his old ways.
The former lawyer also expressed her ‘shock’ after hearing the news of Adam’s new relationship with sports presenter Laura, 37, nine years older than him and a credible figure in the television industry.
Rosie said: ‘I know Laura Woods from watching sport and I always say how well she has done… her career has excelled… it’s incredible to see a woman in the world of sport doing so well.

‘I was as surprised as everyone else when they told me she was dating Adam. I’m told I don’t actually have Adam on social media.
“Adam and I didn’t live long, and it was five years ago, but when he came back to Love Island the second time, I hoped he wouldn’t treat the girls the same way he did me and Zara McDermott. I hoped he would go on the show to find love as he said.
‘Unfortunately, the same toxic pattern emerged in his behavior… People like to tell me things and again on Celebs Go Dating, the exact same routine took place, so it hasn’t really changed. His television appearances speak for themselves!’
Rosie said she is often asked what women see in Adam, who has dated a string of reality TV stars, including Kate Moss’s half-sister Lottie and Love Island’s Paige Thorne.
The Geordie gym owner has also had a romance with several girls he met outside the entertainment industry, including his exes Josie Baxter and Claudia Proctor.
He added: “When people ask ‘why do people fall for him all the time?’ I’m like, ‘He’s charming and seems very sincere at first’… But I wonder if he’s serious about Laura this time because I’d hate for anyone else to get hurt by him.’
