Love Island Australia’s Anna McEvoy has talked candidly about how she overcomes feelings of depression and anxiety while isolating herself during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 27-year-old shared her top tips for eradicating negative thoughts, including making a bucket list, hugging her pets, pumping up the music, and drinking herbal teas.
“We all (feel like we don’t) have that much to look forward to, but the truth is there is so much to look forward to,” she said in a YouTube video.

“So write a bucket list and remind yourself of all the exciting things to come,” she added.
The blonde beauty further explained that whenever she feels like cuddling, she goes straight to her pets.
“When I feel very sad, I hug my pet and immediately feel better,” she said.
So write a bucket list: Anna explained that it was easy to feel that there was nothing to look forward to as we isolate ourselves during the coronavirus pandemic, so writing a bucket list works as a reminder of good things who are yet to come
The influencer also said that boosting her favorite songs has an uplifting effect on her mood.
“Music is great because it can take you back to a very happy place,” she explained.
The model also revealed that when she starts to feel a little anxious, she makes a cup of ‘peppermint tea’ and has found that chamomile tea ‘really calms me down’.

Anna also admitted that she needs to make sure that she gets regular exercise and doesn’t eat too much junk food as this has a big impact on her overall mood.
Anna became famous on Love Island last year when she won the series with partner Josh Packham.
The beloved couple have continued their relationship since filming ended and are still going strong.
