Love Island will return to screens on Monday June 3 for the new series, it has been confirmed.
ITV announced on Wednesday that the 11th season of the dating reality show will return in a matter of weeks.
Maya Jama will return to host the show once again after replacing former host Laura Whitmore, who left the show in 2022.
The Love Island Instagram account shared a stunning snap of Maya standing in front of a love heart engulfed in flames.
Alongside the photo, they wrote: ‘We’re coming in hot! Love Island returns on Monday June 3.’
Love Island will return to screens on Monday June 3 for the new series, it has been confirmed.
ITV will launch the dating show simultaneously on ITV1, ITV2 and ITVX for the first time. It will continue on ITV2 and ITVX for the remainder of the series.
The channel used a similar launch strategy for Big Brother when it rebooted last October, achieving an impressive 2.5 million viewers overnight.
A source said Sun of the change on launch night: ‘ITV wants to support Love Island and make sure it has a big, dazzling moment when series 11 begins next month.
‘Showing it on all channels means creating what they hope will be a big television moment. He shows that there is still a real commitment to the format even nine years later.
“Using the full power of ITV means reaching all demographics, including the crucial 16-34 age groups.”
Meanwhile, Love Island: Aftersun will also return to screens live from London every Sunday on ITV2 and ITVX presented by Maya alongside a range of regular panellists.
Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack will resume their roles alongside new panellists Amy Hart, Chris Taylor and Jordan Stephens as they join celebrity guests to discuss all the happenings in the Villa this summer.
It comes as Love Island found its first contestant ahead of the new series.

Welsh rugby star Ciaran Davies has been in talks with ITV bosses for weeks, according to Sunand will fly to Mallorca in the next few days.
Once in Spain, Ciaran and the other contestants will spend a couple of weeks in isolation before host Maya opens the doors to the villa.
A source has revealed that Ciaran is a perfect fit for the matchmaking programme. “Ciaran caught the attention of Love Island bosses straight away,” a source revealed.
“He’s gorgeous, with a fit and athletic build that will drive the girls in the village crazy, but he’s also a sweet boy-next-door from Wales.”
“He’s the kind of boy you could happily take home to your mother.”
“At this point, it’s unclear if he’s one of the OG members or a bombshell, but he’s a favorite of the casting team and is sure to make a big impression on viewers.”
The ITV2 dating show will see a new group of singles looking for love in Mallorca, and teasers featuring Maya were revealed last month.
Show bosses will no doubt hope the show is a bigger hit with viewers than the Love Island: All Stars spin-off that aired earlier this year.
While the series was the biggest digital show of the year to date, it failed to reach the viewing figures of its glory days.
After a dramatic series, Molly Smith and Tom Clare were crowned winners of the first Love Island All Stars in February.
A source told the publication of the change: “ITV wants to support Love Island and make sure it has a big, dazzling moment when the eleventh series starts next month.”
Love Island: Aftersun will also return to screens live from London every Sunday on ITV2 and ITVX presented by Maya alongside a range of regular panellists.
The ITV reality show received the lowest ratings ever for a Love Island final, with just one million viewers tuning in live to the grand finale, making it the least-watched final since the first series in 2015.
Including viewing figures from streaming platform ITVX, 1.3 million fans watched the final, in line with last year’s winter series finale.
According to Super TV, ITV2 ratings accounted for just 8.4 per cent of viewing figures, while Overnight TV statistics showed they accounted for just 7.6 per cent.
Of this figure, 0.4 million viewers were between 16 and 34 years old, an increase compared to last year’s winter final.
In 2018, 3.6 million tuned in as Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham pocketed £50,000, followed by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who achieved the highest rating ever for a final with 3.7 million.
Viewing figures for the final have declined in recent years, having dropped to around one million after the dramatic conclusion of Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s series, which was watched by three million.
Commenting on the declining figure, one fan wrote: “I hope they don’t make a January series next year and let it rest.” Just focus on the summer and give people a break.

The reigning champions of the regular series are Jess Harding and Sammy Root, who won season 10 in July 2023.
However, it wasn’t a perfect union as the lovebirds split just two months after winning the £50,000 prize, MailOnline exclusively revealed.
A source close to the couple told MailOnline they mutually decided they were “better off as friends” after struggling to make their romance work outside the show.
Their victory came as a surprise, as fans had not predicted that they would beat favorites Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki for the title. Whitney and Lochan are still together.
