Love Island fans were stunned Friday night after Tanya called Shaq her boyfriend.
It comes after she convinces the airport security guard to apologize to Tom for his post-sports day antics.
It all started on Wednesday night after the annual sports day competition, when Shaq and Will “childishly” constantly attacked Tom because his team lost on Thursday night.
Tensions rose as the islanders relaxed after the eventful day, but Shaq didn’t let Tom down after beating his team in the children’s games.
Shaq joked to Tom, “You’re a grown man, chin up. You go again, go back to the training ground, we go again. It is well. It’s just a game. Just winners and losers, right?’

But Tanya seemed to make little impression with his antics as she told Shaq, ‘go away and you’re done now’.
Shaq couldn’t help but keep digging for Tom. He added: “I say we go over there and have Samie give Tom a hug to calm down. You lost the game. It’s a joke, brother. It is a joke.’
Tom eventually lost his cool and yelled, “Shaq, I tell you it’s not funny, but why are you attacking me all the time. It wasn’t funny the first time. F*** off bro and leave it. I get it, go now.’
Tanya then insisted that Shaq apologize to Tom – which he obliged.
When she came back to her after their conversation, Tanya exclaimed, “I have the best boyfriend ever!”
But taking to Twitter when the episode aired, fans were extremely confused.
One fan said, “Did I miss an episode? Since when are Shaq and Tanya boyfriend and girlfriend?’

Meanwhile, other fans shared their opinion that they didn’t believe the apology.
One fan wrote: “Tanya basically forced Shaq to apologize and he walked over to Tom and said sorry, then when he turned back to her he handed me a mom with a toddler in a play area telling them to apologize ;’
Added a second: “Shaq’s bogus apology, he’s shocking.”
It comes after viewers agreed with Tom after Sports Day and quickly took to Twitter to criticize Shaq for acting like a ‘baby’ and that if it were the other way around, Shaq would be ‘fuming’.
One of them wrote, “Yeah, there’s post-win chatter, etc. But Will and Shaq went too far. Tom minded his business and there they crowded and yelled at him. Of course Tom would be annoyed if someone did that.’
Another said, “Shaq is childish. What a joke! Kudos to Tom for staying calm.”
A third wrote: ‘No, I agree with Tom. I’m all for chatting with friends, but if they keep going, it’s not funny anymore, it just gets annoying. Shaq and Will act like kids.”

It comes after Olivia and Maxwell got the news that they had been dumped from the villa on Wednesday night
In a never-before-seen plot twist, the pair were told they would be the ones to follow them out the door.
The pair then had to choose between Claudia and Keanan, Rosie and Casey, and Tanya and Shaq – who also received the fewest votes from the public.
In the end, the couple decided to send Claudia and Keanan home.
