Love Island: All Stars contestant Scott Thomas has revealed what his well-known brothers Adam and Ryan thought of his return to the villa.
The reality star, 36, joined Kady McDermott on the second series of the ITV2 dating show in 2016, but they split a year later.
Now, he returns to the show for the All Stars edition and revealed that both Corrie actor Ryan and Waterloo Road star Adam are “convinced” he will find love.
He told Him Mirror: ‘My brothers support me a lot. Adam was the one who really convinced me to do it.
‘He said it makes a lot of sense, that you should show the best version of yourself. We are very proud of you now.
‘We were proud of you the first time, but the new Scott deserves the chance to show all the work I’ve done on myself.
Love Island: All Stars contestant Scott Thomas has revealed what his well-known brothers Adam and Ryan thought of his return to the villa.

He has revealed that both Ryan, who played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, and Waterloo Road star Adam are “convinced” he will find love.
‘And they also want to see me settle down and they want to see me with someone. They are convinced that I am going to meet someone.
Podcast host Scott also agrees with his brothers that now is a good time to have another season on reality TV.
In recent years, he has gotten sober and has found that it has benefited his overall health, both “physically and mentally.”
He also insisted that while some may assume men peak in their 20s, it’s in their 30s that he starts to feel like he’s in his “prime.”
His ex-girlfriend Kady returned to the Love Island villa in 2023, but admitted that if she returned again it would be a “shock to the system”.
The pair haven’t spoken for several years, and Scott admitted it’s “really strange” that they’ve never crossed paths when they’re in the same industry.
Scott continued: “Kady and I haven’t seen each other in nine years on that show, she’s grown up, I’m a completely different person.”
‘ I don’t know. I’m going to give you all a chance.

The couple enjoyed a romance in series two (pictured) before ending things in 2017 after a huge fight.

‘I honestly don’t know what I would do if I saw Kady, that’s a fact! We haven’t crossed paths in five years, maybe more… It didn’t end in the best possible way’ (pictured in 2016)

When asked what her dating history had been like, the TV star admitted that it hadn’t gone well as she found it difficult to date without alcohol.
“I don’t know if she’s going in or not, if I saw someone there I’d probably be the most worried about seeing her there; it’s a bit of a crazy experience seeing your ex.” But at the same time, I’d be willing to just chat.”
Taking a look at his recent romance, Scott told how he was dating someone on and off for 18 months, but that relationship ended six months ago.
However, he is now eager to enter the villa and continue the romance, even though it terrifies him.
On whether he’s ready to settle down in a new relationship, he said, “100% I’m ready.” Yes, like 100%. I think I’m the most prepared I’ve ever been. Which scares me because I would never have admitted it. A few years ago.
Love Island: All Stars returns on Monday January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
