Louise Thompson reveals she’s ‘basically lived out of a car’ since the devastating house fire

Louise Thompson has revealed that she has “basically lived out of a car” since she was involved in a devastating house fire at her mother’s house.

The pregnant star, 31, who announced news of the ordeal last weekend, used her Instagram platform on Wednesday to update her concerned 1.3 million followers on the current situation.

Louise admitted she had “a little bit of social anxiety” and shared how tough it has been since the crisis, which also affected her mother, fiancé Ryan Libbey and her dogs.

Arms around her beloved puppies Koji and Toto, the Made In Chelsea star kicked off her update with a list of the ones she’s grateful for.

‘fire officers, nhs employees, neighbors, relatives, old friends, new friends, instagram friends I barely know, my amazing agency, brands I work with, the lady behind the counter in the store, my business associates, co-workers, fitness clients, the lady in the park this morning, strangers on the street…

“Thank you for your incredible support,” she wrote.

She continued: “I have to say that I am totally blown away by the kindness and generosity that people offer when they are trying to help someone through a crisis.

“I’ve been getting messages from people I’ve met ONCE who have offered their best friends, cousins, dogs, ex-girlfriends, dad’s house to try and help. It means a lot – I feel incredibly lucky and I wish everyone could have this happiness.”

Louise was staying with her mother Karen at the time of the fire while renovations were being made to her home in South West London.

Speaking about her current living situation, the television personality said: ‘We’ve moved in and out of 4 different hotels/hostels in the past week and basically lived in a car and the truth is it’s been really tough – one of the hardest things to deal with. to go is the total lack of security and privacy.

“I experience a bit of social anxiety and sometimes I just want to hide and not have to interact with other people. You can’t do that if you’re nomadic.’

Louise is no stranger to showing her love for her furry friends and also gave fans an update on how they are doing.

“The other thing (which was arguably even more difficult) was that I had to spend 5 days/nights without the dogs, who are actually my kids. Unfortunately they are not welcome everywhere and they just take so much care off our hands that we couldn’t do from the car.

“I was so paranoid that they would have been badly traumatized by the incident as they were lost in the smoke before being rescued by Ryan, but thankfully they appear to be fine and have been immaculately cared for by Scott, Sam and Zara. A million thanks,” she commented.

Louise remained optimistic, saying: “I had no idea how hard it was to find a short-term place to stay (unfortunately my mom’s house will need YONKS to restore), so now we’re keeping our fingers and toes crossed for our own project.

Grateful: Louise gave a special mention to Ryan, with whom she is expecting her first child: 'Thank you for minimizing all the stress @ryan.libbey u da man! I would be screwed without you'

“Luckily we found a temporary solution that allows me, ryan, bump, koji and toto to camp under one roof [sic] hopefully until the baby is born if needed.’

Earlier in the day, the mother-to-be, who is in her third trimester, put on a brave face when she told fans she was preparing for the chance of an early arrival.

“On my way to pick up our pram from my real estate agency. It was delivered there during the chaos last week.

“Trying to make sure we have everything lined up in case we arrive early. With our current luck, anything is possible,” she said.
