The mom (pictured) shared four rules she plans to follow when raising her child, including cursing around him and teaching him there are only two genders
At first, she said she planned to raise her four-month-old “like a boy, because that’s what he is.”
She also said she will continue to use foul language around her son.
“I won’t stop swearing around him, it’s just words,” said Mrs Barry.
She added that her son will learn that they are “not nice words to use or call other people.”
Aussie mom’s ‘controversial’ parenting rules:
1. She will bring up her son in the generation with which he was born
2. She will continue to swear in front of her children
3. She will teach her son to treat others as he would like to be treated
4. She will teach her son that there are only two sexes
“He will be taught to treat others as he would like to be treated,” she added.
Mrs. Barry’s last line was that she would not teach him anything about gender identity.
“He will learn that there are only two sexes.”
“Nobody’s going to change their mind,” she said.
Reaction to the video was mixed – many people agreed with the mother, but others thought she was limiting her child’s thinking.
“With the swearing, I would just make sure they know there are bad words and only adults can say them, but honestly totally agree,” said one woman.

‘I totally agree. I’m afraid of the world my children have to grow up in now,” said another.
One man suggested that the mother should ‘make up her own mind’ for her child.
“Personally, I would just let my child express himself the way he wants,” one woman agreed.
“I think if you also teach him to be nice to others and accept others and differences, it’s all good,” said another woman.
The woman suggested that the mother’s plans limit gender expression and exclude those who are non-binary from the child’s mindset.
The young mother has uploaded several videos about gender identity, she recently claimed she was called “transphobic” because she planned to raise Levi.
Some people sympathized with the mother, but others accused her of fabricating the story.
“No one is saying this,” said one man.
“Never happened,” wrote another.
