Lotto winner's big mistake that could prevent him from winning a million-dollar prize

A race is on to find a mystery Lotto winner who has just one week left to claim his million-dollar prize or lose it.

The winning ticket was purchased at a BP in the northern Adelaide suburb of Mawson Lakes on 27 September 2023, but the winner has yet to come forward to claim the prize.

“Our mystery winner has likely gone about his year as normal with no idea that he became a millionaire overnight almost a year ago,” he said.

‘Can you imagine unknowingly holding the million-dollar golden ticket in your hands for an entire year?

“We’re just days away from Friday’s deadline and our mystery millionaire is still out there. South Australian Lotto winners have just 12 months to claim their prize and time is running out fast,” said The Lott spokesman Khat McIntyre.

The ticket was not registered to an account, meaning the winner could lose the money.

‘This also serves as an important reminder to register your tickets. If this ticket had been registered, we would have already matched the winner with their $1 million prize.

The winning numbers for the X Lotto 4325 draw on Monday and Wednesday of September 27 were 15, 41, 14, 35, 4 and 5, while the additional numbers were 20 and 37.

Winnings must be collected within 12 months of the draw date, with the deadline being this Friday.

“If you find you have the winning ticket, please contact The Lott on 131 868 immediately to begin the process of claiming your prize,” McIntyre said.
