The 27-year-old singer shared a rare bikini selfie while sitting in a Toyota car during a visit to New Zealand on Monday.
One photo shows Lorde behind the wheel of the vehicle while wearing a strapless graphic print swimsuit top in red and white.
She added a pair of white jeans, as well as a cap with writing on the front and sunglasses.
A second image showed Lorde riding in a helicopter, again wearing sunglasses, with a stunning view from the window.
In her caption, the Royals hitmaker simply added a sunglasses and tree emoji.

Last month, Lorde sparked concern on Monday after she shared a series of photos on Instagram, revealing a black eye.
The star, who mysteriously deleted all of her social media posts earlier this year, gave no explanation for the injuries, leaving fans to speculate about what may have happened.
While many accepted the comments expressing concern and sending well wishes, others wondered if the post could be linked to an upcoming project or message.
‘Lorde, are you okay?’ asked one follower, while another commented: ‘This new album is going to break the Internet.’
His cryptic title only deepened the confusion among his legion of fans, as he wrote: ‘DYHTS?’ ©ĿŁု⑷♶⚤’, leaving many bewildered by the strange symbols and unclear message.
‘And what does the title mean?’ “This is so strange,” wrote one Reddit user. ‘I hope he accidentally hit his face on something, but I don’t know, I can recognize the male-female bonding symbol in your title, which means like a woman and a man together, right?’ I don’t know what the rest means, how strange…’
Another fan commented: ‘Girl you’re so confusing.’
The Royals hitmaker shared several close-ups of her bruised face, followed by a photo of her smiling and about to dunk on a banana split, with the injury still clearly visible.
The second image showed Lorde riding in a helicopter, again wearing sunglasses, with a stunning view from the window.
He also posted a photo of a ProHealth Advanced Imaging disc, along with a snapshot of a hat emblazoned with the phrase “Got the stones?”
One fan seemed impressed by the mysterious post, commenting: “Great way to get back into social media.” He leads with the black eye and the enigmatic baseball cap. I like it, Lorde, I like it. Keep these people alert.’
On August 13, Lorde deleted her social media and fans speculated that the move indicated new music was arriving.
Fellow pop star Taylor Swift has employed a similar tactic in teasing the release of new albums, and recently Lorde has also taken a more cryptic approach to her posts.
In June, the singer uploaded a series of disconcerting photos that seemed to tease new music.
One image showed her in a long black dress, looking over a balcony, while another captured the moment she spit over the edge.
To add to the intrigue, he shared a close-up of his hand holding a tablet with the word “spit” written on it.
He wrote a short message that said: ‘Use existing tools wherever possible. If the tools don’t exist, you are spiritually obligated to create them.’

When another fan commented that the hitmaker was trying to mislead his fanbase, she doubled down on her original denial.
“I’m serious, I literally decided to free them from my laptop… but they’re not bad huh,” he wrote.
Lorde’s most recent album, Solar Power, made its debut in August 2021.
