The Loose Women star, 40, suffered facial burns and blindness in one eye after her ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch and his accomplice Stefan Sylvestre attacked her with acid in 2008.
Katie shared a snap of the comment and admitted that while she doesn’t usually call out cruel posts, this one was “beyond anything” she could handle and added to the “heavy burden” she was already carrying.
It started with the follower asking “where is your nose?” to which the announcer replied: “Being dragged towards my favorite by thick scar tissue is incredibly painful.”

Earlier this year, Katie opened up and revealed “the one thing” that helped her gain confidence after the acid attack.

The TV presenter was lucky to have survived, but she faced an agonizing road to recovery to rebuild her face and her life – her injuries have required more than 400 operations since that day.

She went on to create two more personal documentaries with Channel 4, write her autobiography, a series of self-development books, as well as newspaper and magazine columns, and set up the Katie Piper Foundation, which supports burns survivors.
For the first two years after the attack, Katie had to wear a clear plastic mask over her face, adding that she did not want the mask to prevent her from “going to work” and that she wanted to stop receiving “disability benefits.”
He needed 400 operations after suffering severe burns.
