Mark Beretta and his wife Rachel have separated after 22 years of marriage, sources have told Daily Mail Australia.
The Sunrise star and her former partner, who married in 2001, are said to have quietly split in recent months.
The couple, who met in 1999, share two children, daughter Ava, 18, who works as a baker, and son Dan, 15.
There were signs of trouble before the news, with the pair putting their Mosman home on the market in February.
The sports journalist finally sold his Balmoral Slopes home for $13 million. They had to settle for a price lower than their initial expectations, reducing the price by a staggering $1.75 million.

This five-bedroom, three-bathroom complex has struggled to attract potential buyers.
The Berettas then decided to shell out an additional $750,000 before finally closing the deal in May.
The couple had spent recent years rebuilding the Mandolong Road home, which they bought in 2016 for more than $6 million.
They would have spent more than $900,000 on its renovation, according to council records.
In September, Mark was spotted driving around in a high-performance black Maserati worth $275,000.
He was pictured leaving the Channel Seven studios in Eveleigh, Sydney, in his luxury vehicle.

Mark has previously spoken fondly of his wife, describing how they fell for each other after being set up on a blind date by friends.
“(My friend) told me, ‘If you don’t come to the Middle Park Hotel tonight, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life,'” he said. The Daily Telegraph in 2017.
“So I turned around and came back. Rach and I talked for about 20 minutes, and I was just like, “Wow, she’s awesome.”

Mark has previously spoken fondly of his wife, describing how they fell for each other after being set up by friends on a blind date.
Earlier this year, he described his family life as “busy,” explaining that in addition to his wife and son, he also lives with a grandchild, his teenage daughter Ava’s son, as well as his partner.
“There’s our kids, Ava and Daniel, Ava’s partner, Sam, and our grandson Arlo, so it’s a packed house,” he said. The Australian in July.

Looking back, he said he wishes he had spent more quality time at home with his children when they were younger.
“When the kids were little, they went to bed early and all the lights were turned off in our house by 7 p.m.
“But now they go to bed later and sleep in, and you miss that family time in the morning,” he said.
“Looking back, you think I wish I had spent more time at home, but life is what it is and you make the most of it.

“(My friend) said to me, ‘If you don’t come to the Middle Park Hotel tonight, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life,'” he told the Daily Telegraph in 2017.
Despite this, Beretta has “no complaints” about his work and is “very grateful” to be in the position he does because it has brought his family “extraordinary benefits.”
When asked how Ava and Daniel felt about seeing their father on TV, Mark said they were “taking it all in stride.”
He said they initially thought it was “silly” before realizing it was “not that bad” – especially when he was able to take them both to the Sydney Opera House to see Katy Perry performing live.
Mark has bonded with his teenage children in recent years after they developed an interest in his lifelong passion for motorsport.
“We go to the track a lot and they really enjoy it,” Mark said, adding, “Not quite to the same extent as me, but they’ve got the bug.”

“You do your best and you try to guide your kids with your values and you just hope that they come out happy and good in the community, that they have a good idea of what they can do to help others and that they will be aware of others.”

Mark has worked at Seven since the mid-1990s, rising through the ranks as a respected sports commentator.
