The Logie Awards got off to a glamorous start on Sunday night.
But not everyone who watched the broadcast was impressed; many viewers who tuned in to Channel Seven mocked the show.
The night of Australian television nights was a flop for some, with several people sharing their thoughts on X.
“Is anyone going to see the Logies? Except for Sam Pang, I have no interest,” one person wrote.
Another agreed: “I just said that to my wife. How come the Logies still exist?”
“The Logies is so fucking fun bro, the only people who really care are the celebrities involved and at the event the only reason it’s worth watching is for the Twitter feed,” another person said.
“God, are the Logies still up?” one viewer joked alongside a crying with laughter emoji.
“Does anyone who doesn’t work in television care about soap operas these days?” one person asked.

“They are the most irrelevant awards that exist, without a doubt,” they added.
Many were irritated by the frequent promotion of Channel Seven’s reality show The Voice throughout the programme.
“What’s with the Voice promo in the middle of the red carpet?” one viewer asked.
“I want to watch The Logies, not The Voice. How dare they cross-promote us!”
Someone else chimed in: “Oh my god. How many episodes of The Voice are we going to have to watch tonight?”
Many were irritated by the frequent promotion of Channel Seven’s reality show The Voice throughout the programme.
Another jokingly added: “I do not consent to watching The Voice.”
“Of course Channel 7 has to promote its next show during the Logies,” another person posted.
“The Logies is like a very long first episode of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, every two minutes you’re saying who the fuck is that,” another joked.
However, some viewers at home enjoyed the show and praised host Sam Pang online.
“Sam Pang was once again a master with his opening monologue. He didn’t mince his words,” one person posted.
Another said: “No one is safe when Sam Pang is hosting. Poor Leann Rimes was going to cry… And I’m totally here to support her.”
