It is known as the night of all nights of Australian television.
But not all stars will be attending the 2024 Logie Awards on Sunday night, as some celebrities have opted not to attend the event.
Today show reporter Karl Stefanovic will not be attending as he is celebrating his 50th birthday in Sydney, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Channel Seven star David Koch, whose contract with the network is believed to be coming to an end, and Mark Ferguson, who is thought to be stepping away from the news desk, will also skip the event.
Lisa Wilkinson will not be making any appearances following her controversial speech at the 2022 Logies, where she mentioned alleged rape victim Brittany Higgins.
Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Australian Idol’s Ricki Lee-Coulter and Sylvia Jeffreys will also skip the Logie Awards ceremony.
Meanwhile, Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart are reportedly planning to do a ‘strong launch’ of their red carpet.
Their romance was revealed with their lingering Anzac Day kiss after Ada split from ex-partner Adam Rigby just before Christmas last year and James finalised his divorce from Sarah Roberts in March.

Channel Seven star David Koch, whose contract with the network is believed to be coming to an end, will also not be attending.
Comedian Sam Pang will host the awards night.
“Hosting the Logies last year was an incredible experience and I’m delighted to be returning in 2024,” Sam said in a statement in June.
Andy Lee, Asher Keddie, Julia Morris, Larry Emdur, Robert Irwin, Sonia Kruger and Tony Armstrong will compete for the Gold Logie.
Last year, Pang was hailed as one of the greatest Logies presenters of all time following his debut at the awards.
His biting jokes during the Logies included high-profile targets such as Channel Stefanovic and Koch.
Channel Seven’s broadcast of Logies was a ratings success for the network, attracting an impressive 877,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart (pictured) are reportedly planning to make their ‘hard pitch’ on the red carpet.
Fans have attributed the show’s success to Sam, with many tuning into Logies for the first time just to watch him host the show.
He was a huge hit with viewers thanks to his fiery jokes, which took aim at everything from the crudest reality shows to the scandalous private lives of celebrities.
Sam’s opening monologue included a critique of Married at First Sight, saying the controversial reality show is “a clear sign that we’re not going to make it as a species.”
He also joked about the lack of diversity on commercial television, saying: “I’m the first presenter in the history of the Logies to be half and half – half Channel Seven, half Channel Ten.”
