Andy Lee was caught in an awkward moment while walking the red carpet at the Logie Awards at The Star Sydney on Sunday night with his fiancée Rebecca Harding.

Rebecca blushed after the comedian, 43, joked that he was “flirting with less people” at the star-studded event now that they are engaged.

The couple were all smiles as they spoke to Dr. Chris Brown on the red carpet after getting engaged after nearly ten years of dating.

“There’s no turning back now (that you’re engaged),” Chris said.

“No, and he’s been flirting a lot less with people on the red carpet. He hasn’t disappeared completely, but he’s done a lot less,” Andy joked.

Andy looked dapper as he sported a classic black tuxedo at the star-studded awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, Rebecca, 34, opted for an elegant baby pink dress that featured a high neckline and a pearl brooch.

The couple announced their engagement on May 1 after ten years together.

Speaking to The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick in June, the comedian revealed he personally designed Bec’s engagement ring.

“I thought I had an idea, but I didn’t realize how important the ring is,” he said.

Andy also spoke out about the long-awaited proposal, which had been the subject of engagement rumors and speculation for years.

“Well, I’d been waiting 10 years for Bec to propose to me and I thought, ‘Damn… I’m going to have to do it,'” she joked.

“The hard part is that most people said, ‘It’s about time,’ there were no congratulations, just shouting and (questions) why you hadn’t done it before,” he admitted.

Andy got down on one knee at the couple’s decrepit $5 million Melbourne mansion and proposed with a napkin, symbolising how they met in 2014.

“When I met Bec, in a cafe, she was a waitress and she was busy and I was writing on a napkin,” Andy said.

“I left my email address (on the napkin), which she didn’t like, but I just said, ‘If you have a boyfriend, tell him I’m using you to get to him. I bet he’s hot,'” she continued.

Andy returned to the same café the next morning and wrote another message on the napkin.

“I actually went back to the same cafe, grabbed the same napkin again and wrote, ‘If you have a husband, tell him I’m using you to get to him. I bet he’s handsome,'” she said.

Rebecca and Andy went public with their relationship at the 2015 Australian Open.

In 2022, the couple confirmed that they had briefly split for six months in 2016 after Rebecca felt “immense pressure” dating someone in the public eye.

However, they soon realized that they were destined to be together during their time apart.

Andy and Rebecca are currently undertaking a $5 million renovation project after purchasing a historic mansion in Melbourne’s east end.
