A woman was injured after a man smashed a car window during a terrifying road rage incident south of Brisbane on Tuesday.
Police were called to Chambers Flat Road in Logan Reserve around 3pm on Tuesday to reports that a man had approached a car stopped at a red light and smashed the rear window with his hand.
A woman, in her 30s, was sitting in the back seat and suffered minor lacerations to her face. There was also a baby in the back of the vehicle, but he was not injured.
The woman was assessed by paramedics at the scene but refused further treatment.

Police said the 37-year-old driver was not injured and was able to get away from the man before any further damage was caused.
The man allegedly left the scene in another car before police arrived.

He then proceeds to hit the back window, causing the glass to break inside the car.
Witnesses told Nine News the woman had a small child with her, and one said she saw the man banging on the car window saying “get out, get out”.
“The lady in the back came out and she had blood all over her face,” he said.
As of Wednesday morning, a man has been detained in Beaudesert and investigations are continuing.
The man is seen breaking his hand through the back seat window.
