Drag racer Lizzy Musi, who rose to fame on the long-running reality TV franchise Street Outlaws, died Thursday at age 33 after a battle with breast cancer.
She was diagnosed in April 2023, and by the time doctors discovered the disease, it had already progressed to stage four.
The news of her death was broken by her father, Pat Musi, who had been a car racer before his daughter began practicing it.
“Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25pm tonight,” Pat wrote on Facebook.
‘Thank you for all the prayers and support during his battle. At this time, the family would like time to grieve and make arrangements peacefully. We will provide an update as soon as we have information to share.’

Lizzy grew up in North Carolina in the racing world, due to her father’s career as a driver and engine builder.
Eventually, she entered the profession herself, becoming the first woman to break the 200 mph barrier in Eighth mile gate races.
In 2018 he reached new heights of fame by joining the Street Outlaws franchise, appearing in their No Prep Kings series.
Lizzy earned a spot as a recurring presence in the world of Street Outlaws, appearing on Street Outlaws: Locals Only last year.
She made her cancer diagnosis public shortly after receiving the news in April 2023, announcing that an “unexpected life change” had just occurred.
“A few days ago I was diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative breast cancer which has spread to my lymph nodes and liver,” she wrote on Instagram.
She explained that she first felt the lump in December 2022 or January 2023, in a video that was posted to her. Youtube page.
She initially dismissed the growth as “scar tissue” because she had recently undergone two revisions for breast augmentation that “didn’t work.”

In her final months, she was known to be dating professional racing driver Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of Dale Earnhardt, a legend in the profession.
However, her lump grew larger, which alarmed her so much that she decided to undergo further tests which resulted in the eventual discovery that she had cancer.
Lizzy made the announcement alongside her then-fiancé, fellow Street Outlaws member Kye Kelley, whom she split from later that year.
In June 2023, he posted a selfie of his shaved head on his Instagram page and shared that Kye had cut his hair at the racetrack.
“I don’t think I could have done it any other way,” she wrote. “Every time I brushed my hair, it fell out in clumps. I had bald spots and a lot of hair loss. I was getting to the point where I was ready to take that step.”
Lizzy continued to battle cancer until her final weeks: her last Instagram post, dated May 31, indicated that she was undergoing treatment at a private clinic in Germany.
In her final months, she was known to be dating professional racing driver Jeffrey Earnhardt, whose grandfather was NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt.
“I found a man when I least expected it, plus I was going through the worst time of my life…” she wrote in an enthusiastic Facebook post in January.
“It didn’t affect him and he has loved me unconditionally ever since… hairless… sick or not, he has seen me at my worst… receiving numerous calls to tell me how beautiful and strong I am, talking on FaceTime without a wig and he still praises me… I am very, very grateful for you and it needs to be said.”
