Billie Eilish was heard giving her thoughts on the TikTokers who attended the People’s Choice Awards.
In a video circulating online, the singer had a few things to say about the presence of influencers on the show while speaking to Kylie Minogue.
Billie, 22, could be heard telling Kylie, 55: “I think there are some… TikTokers here.”
Just as Billie said the word ‘TikTokers’, she covered the side of her face, seemingly in an attempt to avoid being overheard, before pointing at something behind her.
Fans interpreted her comments as disapproval of the TikTokers, and many agreed with her apparent objection to their presence: “Billie shading the Internet plague makes me like her even more,” one posted.

“Haha I couldn’t act so I cook on TikTok but I’m with Billie in this one,” one added with a laughing-crying emoji.
“Tiktokers everywhere are like a plague,” wrote another.
“There are actually some talented tiktokers but I don’t know why they invite the bad ones lmaoo,” another posted.
‘And he’s right because TikTokers are not celebrities and they don’t belong at awards shows. “They make them cheaper,” one posted.
Billie went home with the TV Performance of the Year award for her role as cult leader Eva in Prime’s miniseries Swarm.
She was up against notable figures like Meryl Streep, Ayo Edebiri and Jon Hamm for the award.
“Wow, that was crazy to watch,” Eilish said in her acceptance speech. ‘It was crazy seeing all those names and then mine, and here I am. This is voted on by the fans and I want to say how grateful, lucky and privileged I am for it. Thank you so much.’
He praised his collaborators on the project, giving credit to the show’s creators, Donald Glover and Janine Nabers, as well as star Dominique Fishback.

Swarm made its debut early last year, earning Fishback both praise and an Emmy nomination for her standout performance.
The story revolves around an obsessed fan, Dre (Fishback), who goes to murderous extremes to protect the reputation of his beloved pop star.
Eilish was a big winner at the 49th Annual People’s Choice Awards when she took home an award for her acting debut.
Eilish played Eva, a subtly manipulative cult leader within an all-female group, who traps Dre under the guise of “female empowerment.”
Billie previously said that the series’ exploration of toxic fandom resonated with her, as she has experienced it as a global pop star in real life.

The Bad Guy singer, who was recently honored at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, took home the award for Television Performance of the Year for her work on the series Swarm.
The Oscar winner revealed that she wanted to try acting even before the opportunity with Swarm arose.
Even though her parents, Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, were actors, she initially suppressed the aspiration, considering herself “really bad” at it, according to Variety.
It wasn’t until Glover personally approached her about the role of Eva that she reconsidered and took the opportunity to explore acting. Eilish also competed for pop star of the year, which went to Taylor Swift.
