American pop star Lizzo shocked fans at her Perth show on Friday when she referenced Taylor Swift amid claims the singers are feuding.
Earlier this month, the 35-year-old “About Damn Time” singer made a negative comment about an artist on Instagram live, and many of Taylor’s fans believe it was directed at her.
Speaking to her 13.5 million followers, Lizzo said: “Today’s most popular person doesn’t even compare to what Beyoncé is doing.”
Swifties assumed she was talking about Taylor, as the Wildest Dreams hitmaker has recently taken the world by storm with record sales for her Era tour and is currently dominating the charts.
Taking the stage at Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday for the opening night of her The Special Tour, Lizzo referenced their feud, saying there’s no bad blood.

The comment came between songs when Lizzo decided to chat with the audience and read some fan banners.
One sign read: “I chose you over Taylor.”
After reading the sign, Lizzo told the fan, “I’m going to start by saying thanks for coming to my show, I know tickets are expensive to everyone’s shows so it means a lot to me that you’re there.” here.

Elsewhere during the concert, Lizzo wowed the crowd as she sang her chart-topping hits.
The pop star spilled her famous curves in a leather bodysuit with neon green accents and fringe detailing.
He won over the paying audience for an Australian classic, launching a Down Under version of Men at Work on his flute.
She also wowed the crowd by showing off her impressive voice with a rendition of Coldplay’s hit song Yellow.
