Lizzie Cundy accused her former friend Meghan Markle of making her recent appearance at the hospital charity gala “about herself” with scathing comments.
The couple were previously friends after they met at a charity gala in 2013, however, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, became ‘ghosted’ by Lizzie, 56, after meeting Prince Harry.
And they narrowly avoided an awkward encounter last week, both of them were present at the LA Children’s Hospital gala.
speaking in GB News On Saturday Lizzie said sarcastically: ‘I bet she was delighted to see me!’
He added of the night and what he thought of Meghan being there: “It’s the event to see her at.” I was hoping he would do something for the charity, maybe give a speech, but it seemed like he was just there for the photo shoot.

“She wasn’t there for long; there was a funny moment when a lady asked for a selfie and her face looked like she’d swallowed a wasp.
‘She needs Los Angeles, but Los Angeles has had enough of her. There he cooked a goose. She makes it all about herself.’
He added that the charity “does great work” but thought the duchess “did it all for Meghan.”

Other attendees at the event included presenters Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis and Colin Hanks, while Demi Lovato also performed during the night.

Lizzie continued: “I wanted a boyfriend and I wanted to get on the showbiz scene and I wanted a job in British television and I wanted to be Made in Chelsea, actually, the show.”
“So I said, ‘Look, if I can help you, I will,’ which I tried to do. “I tried to hook her up with Ashley Cole, actually the former Chelsea player, but she wasn’t his type.
‘I said I would try to hook her up with some guys, she wanted to stay in Britain. She wanted a British boyfriend. So in the end he kept that one and won the lottery.
Previously, Lizzie claimed that Meghan and Prince Harry named their daughter Lilibet as a tribute to her, and not the Queen.

‘Thank you Meghan. You tricked me and now you’re calling your son after me. I apreciate it.
‘My name was Lilibet at school. When I heard it on the radio, I turned around and said, ‘That’s my name! They haven’t called me that in years.
“I was quite surprised because it’s an unusual name. Maybe that’s their way of approaching it. But I wish them the best and I think it’s wonderful.”
