An article on 29 October 2009 reported on allegations made by a student website that BBC correspondent Lizo Mzimba had engaged in drunken and inappropriate behavior while researching a documentary about Cambridge University and that as a result , had been humiliated by the students. We accept that Mr Mzimba never worked on such a documentary, he did not behave in a drunken or inappropriate manner and he was not humiliated as alleged. We apologize for the distress and embarrassment caused.
