Klopp has already started the next cycle of his frontline signing Diogo Jota last summer and Luis Diaz and Barnes – who scored 106 goals in 403 appearances for the club and won five major trophies there – point to these additions as another reason why he doesn’t I don’t believe there will be a major upheaval in Merseyside.

“Well, you’ve got Jota, and you’ve got Diaz, who’s much younger on the team and they don’t all go through one window, so I’m not worried at all,” he said. sports post only at a Evening with the Liverpool Masters On behalf of Gambling.com

“So as you can see we have five players there now. Divock Origi goes but we still have [Takumi] Minamino and others who can play in those positions, so I’m not worried at all.

“The way Jurgen Klopp is, and the kind of template he wants, I know we can get a player like Diaz who isn’t going to cost you £100million, but who fits what we want and becomes successful.

“So if we lose players, we can always replace them. Other clubs can’t do that because they are looking at it from a fan’s perspective that unless Manchester City and Manchester United make a £80million purchase it would be very negative.

“While we can attract players for £20-30 million and we’re happy because we know they can fix it to what we want.

“So we’re lucky that the way the manager wants to play doesn’t cost hundreds of millions of pounds to get the players in to actually maintain that success.”
