Liverpool are preparing for life without Mohamed Sell and will target one of their Egyptian teammates as a replacement, according to reports.

There remains uncertainty over Salah’s future at Anfield, with the winger having one year left on his contract and talks over an extension yet to take place.

There also remains strong interest from Saudi Arabia after a £150m bid from Al-Ittihad was rejected on deadline day last summer.

Liverpool will enter a new chapter this summer once Jurgen Klopp leaves and have also begun searching for Salah’s replacement, according to Sports world.

The Spanish outlet claims that the Reds have set their sights on a £52.2m move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush.

There remains uncertainty over Salah’s future, as he has one year left on his contract.

Marmoush has had a magnificent season with the Bundesliga team after joining them. a free transfer last summer after leaving Wolfsburg.

The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided six assists for Eintracht, who are currently sixth in the table.

Marmoush played alongside Salah for Egypt, who were eliminated in the AFCON round of 16 earlier this year.

Salah’s departure would be a blow as he has made a tremendous impact since his move to Merseyside in 2017, scoring 207 goals in 337 appearances.

During that time they have won the Premier League, the Champions League, the FA Cup and two League Cups.

Marmoush played alongside Salah during Egypt’s AFCON campaign earlier this year.

Salah will be determined to add more titles this campaign, with Liverpool still in the fight for glory in the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League.

Klopp’s side currently sit second behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference ahead of Brighton’s visit on Sunday.
