Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly involved in a transfer race for Aston Villa star Carney Chukwuemeka, who is currently rated as ‘the best 16-year-old in England’.
The teen midfielder is also believed to be on Manchester City’s radar, but Villa hopes they can convince the youngster to commit his future.

Villa is confident they can make a deal with the youngster and give him a contract extension once the coronavirus crisis is over.
The discussions had taken place before the lockdown went into effect, but there are some suitors who are willing to jump if no agreement can be reached.
He is highly regarded by Villa, and it was their CEO – Christian Purslow – who described the English Under 17 international as the best in the country at his age.
Both Liverpool and Manchester United have recently been targeting young English talent.
Last summer, Jurgen Klopp’s side noticed 16-year-old Harvey Elliott from Fulham, while United is also on a hunt for Birmingham teen star Jude Bellingham.
