Liverpool and Manchester City squeeze the odds and predictions of Man United: Premier League

Sergio Agüero and favorites of the title of probabilities Man City defeated Chelsea in the Community Shield

It feels strange to think about Christmas while we are in the midst of a scorching summer, but if there is a desire for this year, the Premier League title race does not end when Santa gets his sleigh out of the garage.

Manchester City broke records when they opened more than one canyon than a gap with the rest of the group last season and, as a result, we have a priori favorites for the first time in 12 years, Pep Guardiola's team no better than 4/6 to successfully defend your crown.

So, can someone stop them?

BETTING BEFORE-POST

A City-Liverpool-United 1-2-3 is 10/1 with Sky Bet, while the three clubs from the north are 3/1 for the first places in any order.

Cardiff-Watford-Huddersfield descent descent – 16/1.

Manchester United finished second behind its neighbors last season (that 10/1 direct forecast was proposed here 12 months ago) but they were nothing more than a point in the rearview mirror, a total of 19 pace points. They also ended the campaign empty-handed and, since then, their summer has been stinking.

It is not only Donald Trump who can rant like a madman in the United States and cause concern on all continents: United fans around the world will not have enjoyed listening to José Mourinho in recent weeks.

It is possible that he has not been tweeting nonsense in capital letters as he struggles to make United great again, but his moans (on the miserable tour of the United States and now back home) have overshadowed his campaign development.

Mourinho still has players like Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sánchez in his ranks, but he is not a happy man when he does not get what he wants, at least two other players, and now he has Paul Pogba interested in moving to Barcelona with agent Mino Raiola pulling of the strings.

European clubs can buy until the end of the month so that one has not gone to bed and, if all that is not enough, United's fierce rivals, Liverpool, are eager to finish above them.

Unlike Mourinho, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has had an excellent summer with a series of signings completed very early, with Alisson, who is now the second most expensive goalkeeper in the world, among them.

The Brazilian received a tip to save Liverpool 10-15 points in the campaign, but what about the rest? They were 25 points from City in May.

Liverpool is 4/1 to finish at the top of the pile, but a much better bet at the same price is City-Liverpool in the direct forecast.

Klopp, who lost a lot against City earlier in the season but managed the best of them twice in Europe and avenged the defeat of the Etihad league by winning 4-3, has added Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri

But the City team remains the best in the top flight and now includes Riyad Mahrez and a well-rested Leroy Sane after his World Cup snub.

The Arsenal locker room looks healthier than it was a while ago and the fans seemed happy, until this week when Stan Kroenke announced his acquisition plan.

Unai Emery has made solid signings to start the Wenger after Arsene and will seek to return to the first four. They are 2/1 to achieve it, but a better route for football in the Champions League could be to win the Europa League. Emery won it three years in a row with Sevilla and the Gunners are 9/1 to lift the trophy. Definitely worth a bite.

Along the Seven Sisters Road, Tottenham has no new faces, but they do have a new stadium and the best scorer of the World Cup, while goalkeeper Hugo Lloris returns after raising the big one in Russia.

Among the sticks at Stamford Bridge will be Kepa, a late addition to a team that is still getting used to the style of new boss Maurizio Sarri after Chelsea took his time to get Antonio Conte out the door.

The Blues could also be the best on the Europa League route (they are 7/1 favorites to win) to return to the top of the table if the three London clubs are fighting for the last place in the Champions League.

At the other extreme, Cardiff is likely to lose, no more than 7/10, but Paddy Power is offering 4/1 that keep the table with Man City.

The wolves and the big expenses of Fulham seem to be prepared to stand and, if they do, Huddersfield and Watford could be in danger. Both benefited from the fast starts of the last quarter, but fell in the second half of the season and if they do not click early it could be 10 long months. A triple descent from Cardiff-Watford-Huddersfield returns 16/1.

Top scorer

Harry Kane (10/3 with Bet Victor) takes his place at the top of the bets to finish as the best shooter ahead of Mo Salah (28/5), the man who last season denied him three national Golden Boots Consecutive If Kane stays in shape, he will be there or more or less, just as he has been doing in the last four seasons with a 2nd-1st-1st-2nd.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, 10 goals in 13 games at the end of last season and no World Cup to tire him out in the summer, has been a popular choice and is a good bet at 7/1, but despite the obvious choices, often a large number between places.

Man United is not paying Sanchez half a million pounds a week to play with his thumbs and can be supported with 40/1 to regain the scoring form of his last full season at Arsenal when he scored 24 goals in the league. His teammate Lukaku is available at 10s (Bet Victor), while Paddy Power and Betfair have Sergio Agüero (1º-2º-4º-3º in the last 4 years) on 15/2.

The 11/2 offered by 10Bet for Man City and Kane in the double-winner-top scorer will be a popular option, while Liverpool fans will stack Salah and the Reds on 22/1.
