My name is Sam Lewis and it’s great to be here with you at a suspiciously normal time of day as Australia continues its preparations for the Paris Olympics, which are now just three months away.
Charging
It’s been about six weeks since the Matildas were last together, with that 13-0 aggregate loss to Uzbekistan to qualify for Paris, but an awful lot has happened in the meantime (more on that in a minute).
It’s currently 9am here in Sydney and I almost can’t believe we’re about to watch international football. What a luxury.
