At noon today, the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee will publish its decision on interest rates. Markets currently expect the base rate to rise 25 basis points to 4.25 percent.

The FTSE 100 will open at 8am Companies with trade reports and updates today include Lloyd’s of London, Cenkos, finnCap, Wickes, Playtech, Crest Nicholson and C&C Group. Read the Business Live blog for Thursday, March 23 below.
