Lisa Wilkinson shared a hilarious throwback video of an awkward interview gaffe that left her red-faced.
The 64-year-old TV host took to Instagram on Saturday to share footage from a now-viral segment on the Today show from nearly 10 years ago.
The 2015 moment saw her leave her co-host Karl Stefanovic in stitches when she suffered an unfortunate unintentional double entendre during an interview.
The pair were chatting to a group of bearded men about their charity The Beard Season, which encourages men to grow facial hair in an annual skin cancer awareness and fundraising campaign.
Lisa then joked that she herself would join the group of men in growing beards, saying: “I’ll tell you what, I’ll grow a beard because it’s in my genes.”
However, Karl, 49, misunderstood what she meant and seemed surprised when she asked: “Is it in your jeans?” That?’
Noticing the hilarious double entender, the co-hosts burst out laughing as they struggled to compose themselves, with Lisa looking very blushing.
Lisa joked with a fan about the funny interview gaffe as she shared the video on Instagram, admitting that she often sees it go viral on social media.

Alongside the clip, she wrote, “I don’t know if I’ll ever get to live this moment from about ten years ago on the Today Show, but it’s funny how often it keeps popping up on social media…and it’s happening again.”
