Lisa Snowdon has revealed the £2,000 treatment she undergoes annually to cope with the “toll” menopause has taken on her skin.
The TV presenter and Celebrity MasterChef winner, 51, who used to date George Clooney, visits Dr Galyna Selezneva at the Dr Rita Rakus Clinic in Knightsbridge once a year for a skin tightening treatment – Thermage FLX.
The needle-free process uses non-invasive radiofrequency that heats the skin to promote collagen production, making the skin tighter, softer and smoother.
Despite being ‘super committed’ to her skincare regime, the presenter, who has been undergoing the treatment for three years, required ‘extra support’ to get the skin on her face and neck ‘firmer’.
And Lisa found that the results improved over time. “Immediately, I noticed this incredible tightening in my jawline and cheeks, and also a lift in my upper lip and eyebrows; the results only improved over the next six months,” she said.

The non-invasive process uses a laser-emitting wire to tighten the skin, promising collagen regeneration with 95 percent success, something rare in skin tightening, according to the clinic.
Lisa made the decision to undergo the Thermage FLX procedure to help her embrace her menopausal skin.
Lisa said: ‘Aging and going through menopause takes its toll on your skin. I’ve been very committed to my skincare routine for years, but I knew I was ready for some extra support to continue feeling my best.
“Searching for an alternative in the sea of devices that offer a collagen boost was difficult and, to say the least, a little confusing.”
He continued: ‘The treatment uses radiofrequency to heat the skin to 45 degrees, the specific temperature needed to stimulate the production of new collagen.
‘It’s not painful, just some areas around my jaw were a little more sensitive, but the device vibrates and cools the skin at the same time, meaning after my treatment I can put on my makeup and get on with my day.
