The influencer, 51, who headlined the MAKERS conference in Beverly Hills, took to social media shortly after to host an ‘Ask Me a Question’ session.

The first question that came up was “How did you get to wellness?”

The Goop founder, who was at her company’s headquarters in Santa Monica, said it all arose from a family tragedy.

“I got into the wellness world when my father was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 25,” she said.

“That started to catalyze my foray into understanding food, environmental toxins, food as medicine, and alternative things like acupuncture,” she explained.

“So it started a long time ago… I don’t know, in the mid-90s, thanks to my dad.”

Gwyneth worked with the esteemed director on the 2000 film Duets, two years before his death from throat cancer at age 59.

The Shakespeare in Love star revealed in March 2023 that she was following an anti-inflammatory diet under the direction of her doctor to deal with long Covid.

‘So, lots of cooked vegetables, all kinds of protein and healthy carbohydrates to really reduce inflammation. “It has been working very well,” he maintained, adding, “This is based on my medical results and the extensive testing I have done over time.”

‘This is because plant-based foods are rich in types of fiber, nutrients and phytochemicals (natural substances) that can help prevent cancer. Plus, plant foods can help you manage your weight and give you the energy you need to enjoy physical activity.

Another question in the Q&A session was whether The Politician star believed in reincarnation.

“I guess I believe in reincarnation,” he admitted, “but I wish I didn’t.”
