The heartbreaking moment an emotional Lisa Curry scatters her late daughter Jaimi’s ashes in Italy after revealing she still feels “unimaginable” grief over the loss three years later
Lisa Curry performed a heartbreaking act on Friday when she scattered some of her daughter Jaimi’s ashes in Italy.
The grieving mother, 61, who lost her 33-year-old daughter three years ago, shared the emotional moment on Instagram.
In a photo roll, she blew her son’s ashes into the wind across the bay of Monterosso, Cinque Terre, leaving behind a photo of the couple.
Next to her daughter’s photo were two small dolls and a bouquet of purple flowers that Lisa left on a brick wall overlooking the water in remembrance.

It comes just weeks after Lisa revealed that she is still struggling with the loss of Jaimi three years after her death.
Sharing a sweet photo of her and Jaimi on Instagram in April, she said: “Get up, get dressed, show up and do what you have to do, no matter how hard it is.”
‘Today I spoke at the Nurses and Midwives Wellbeing Conference in Melbourne. My theme was Demonstrating Hope: On Resilience and Navigating Through Crisis.’

Next to her daughter’s photo were two small dolls and a bouquet of purple flowers that Lisa left on a brick wall overlooking the water in remembrance.

Lisa also left a trail of purple flowers that led up the steps to Jaimi’s memorial.
She continued: “A very difficult subject for me, but every time I speak it gets a little easier.”
Jaimi died in September 2020 after an 18-year battle with alcohol addiction and anorexia.
Lisa and Grant were married in 1984, separated in 2009 and during their marriage they had three children together: son Jett, 28, and daughters Morgan, 31, and Jaimi.
Jaimi died at Sunshine Coast University Hospital on September 14, 2020, surrounded by her family.
