Lionel Messi’s legacy at Inter Miami is only growing, with his son Thiago now added to the franchise’s academy.
Thiago was among the additions to the U12 squad despite not being assigned to a club before.
In what appears to be intentional, Inter Miami mentioned Thiago’s name without any of the pomp and circumstance his father received upon joining the Fort Lauderdale franchise.
The 10-year-old, who turns 11 on November 2, moved with his two younger brothers and parents to Fort Lauderdale in July.
Since his arrival, the Messi family has captured the imagination of the American football world.
