Since Messi announced his intentions to join Miami last month, the club has been fairly quiet.
Owner Jorge Mas confirmed that the club expected the playmaker to make his debut on July 21 against Mexican side Cruz Azul in the League Cup.
Miami also wished him a happy 36th birthday late last month.
However, there has yet to be an official announcement about his imminent arrival.
However, even if Messi is not yet in the United States, the hype surrounding his arrival is palpable.
Within 24 hours of their decision to join Major League Soccer, Inter Miami gained more than 5 million followers on Instagram, from approximately 1 million to 6.1 million.
