Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas have taken their family on a summer holiday to Ibiza, relaxing in a £260,000-a-week house on the Spanish island.
The pair, who played together in Barcelona from 2011-2014 at youth team level and in the first team, remain close despite their different career paths and enjoy a holiday with their family.
Messi has posted pictures to his Instagram along with wife Antonela Roccuzzo with their three boys Mateo, nine, Thiago, six and Ciro, four, and Fabregas is with wife Daniella Semaan and their three children – daughters Lia and Capri and son Leonardo.

Both Messi and Fabregas attended the wedding of former team-mate Jordi Alba in Seville last weekend, along with a host of current and former Barca stars – and are now continuing to relax after the grueling 2021-22 season.
The expensive mansion has six bedrooms, a gym and a 20-metre swimming pool, according to a report in Spanish outlet Diario AS, and also has 22 staff members.
The two families also enjoyed their time on a £60,000-a-week yacht called the Shalimar II in the Mediterranean.
The 25-meter yacht is said to have four cabins, luxurious exterior sofas and a special VIP suite.

The 34-year-old Messi is relaxing after his first season at PSG – and also after a win in the Finalissima with Argentina at Wembley on June 1 – while Fabregas, 35, is currently unattached after being released from Monaco.
Fabregas recently insisted that he wanted to keep playing, saying: ‘First of all, I still want to play. I don’t want to end up like this. It’s been too bad a year to end like this. I want to have fun, end with a good feeling.
‘Nothing has been decided, I’m listening. I am open to everything. Maybe the level of the club has to go down, but in the Champions League there are teams of a lower level. One thing is clear. I go to a club where I play, where they believe in me.’
