Freakier Friday sees Curtis and Lohan reprise their characters Tess and Anna, respectively, more than two decades after they switched bodies in the beloved 2003 film, which was a remake of the 1976 film starring Jodie Foster.
In the sequel, Anna now has a daughter and a future stepdaughter. But the mother-daughter duo discovers that changing bodies isn’t a once-in-a-lifetime event.
At Disney’s D23 conference, Curtis described the film as “a love letter to mothers and daughters” while chatting with People.
“It’s so beautiful to see all three generations in this,” Lohan added. ‘It’s so beautiful to see how Anna looks to Tess for advice. But Tess still wants to come in and give advice.
