Lindsay Lohan gushed about new husband Bader Shammas on Thursday as she promoted her new Christmas movie on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

The 36-year-old actress was first congratulated by show host Jimmy, 48, on getting married and he asked her how married life was going.

‘It is awesome. It’s amazing that I met my person. You never know if you’ll find that in life and he’s a great guy, man. I love him and we’re a great team,” said Lindsay, who wore a sleeveless red Versace leather dress on the NBC talk show.

Jimmy asked if she’s gotten a new perspective on life since she married Bader, 35, in April.

‘You can just share everything with someone. And it’s so special. Everything is becoming so much more important, I feel,” Lindsay said.

Lindsay promoted her comeback romantic Christmas comedy Falling For Christmas on Netflix, which is her first major role in over a decade, and explained what the film is about.

“So it’s a girl who’s kind of an heiress who has pretty much everything and something happens to her and she has a serious accident and she has amnesia and doesn’t remember anything,” Lindsay said.

And I think it’s a great story because it’s about how we always want more in life, but the simple things mean the most to us in the end. And I really bonded with that,” she said.

“And it’s really funny that I do a lot of physical comedy in it, which is fun for me,” Lindsay added.

Lindsay also sings Jingle Bell Rock in the film after singing the Christmas carol with Santa’s Helpers in the 2004 teen comedy Mean Girls.

I was joking with the producers and the director and I was like, “Oh, it would be great to do, you know, like a Jingle Bell Rock sketch.” And I shouldn’t have said it, because she immediately went, “Oh, let’s recreate the Mean Girls talent show scene and I was like, “Oh no, you can’t touch Mean Girls. Sorry, that’s like, that can’t you do it.” They said, “Oh, can you do the song?” And so I thought, “I’ll do the song,” Lindsay revealed.

Lindsay also confirmed that she has spoken to Jamie Lee Curtis, 63, about making a Freaky Friday sequel after starring in the 2003 film together.
