Ray is kidnapped while climbing with a billionaire’s son and Naomi must “save her family” while fighting “to survive in the Italian Dolomites,” the synopsis concludes.

The film is being shot in Austria, Italy and Germany and also stars Nell Tiger Free, Franz Rogowski, Shubham Saraf, Assaad Bouab, Suzy Bemba and Bruno Gouery.

“Shooting our film in the Dolomites using large format cameras was imperative for us to show the scope and scale of the story we are telling.

“We are going to offer the public a top-quality, truly exciting and visceral theatrical experience,” said director Jaume Collet-Serra in a statement published by Variety.

‘Lily, in particular, has gone to great lengths to play the role, really training and learning how to climb.

“Their dedication has allowed us to capture some incredible shots that we couldn’t have achieved otherwise, and the entire team is impressed by their commitment.”

Stallone played ranger and mountaineer Gabe Walker in the 1993 film that took place in the Rocky Mountains.
