Lily Collins shared a behind-the-scenes video of the makeup process that transformed her into a burn victim for her character in her new film MaXXXine.
The horror film, the third in the X-rated trilogy, opened in theaters on Friday.
Collins, 35, previously shared some “unhinged” BTS photos from the horror film, and is now taking fans through the lengthy process of her terrifying transformation.

“Big shout out to the glam and prosthetics teams for getting us all ready for the slasher.”

The process began with makeup artists using the Emily in Paris star’s flawless complexion as a blank canvas.
They began applying glue and textured patches to his face and neck to create an uneven surface.
Some of the prosthetics were removed as technicians searched for the perfect look.
They judiciously applied red and black coloring to make Collins look as if he had been burned in a fire.
ZZ Top’s song “Sharp Dressed Man” played beneath the video, which ended with the actress calling the final product “terrifying.”
“Ouchieee,” wrote friend Nina Dobrev in response to the transformation.
“This looks so real! I’m so excited to see it,” one fan posted.

Collins’ beloved romantic comedy Emily in Paris is returning to Netflix for a fourth season next month.
As with Bridgerton, the streaming service will release the series in two separate parts, with the first five episodes available to watch starting August 15.
The second five episodes will debut on September 12.
