On her 31st birthday, actress Lily Collins took to Instagram to urge her nearly 19 million followers to “ stay indoors ” at a time she described as “ scary and unprecedented. ”
But the star Mirror, Mirror took a break from her personal commitment to self-distance on Wednesday when she took a walk with boyfriend Charlie McDowell in their Los Angeles neighborhood.
The couple, who have been dating since June last year, were joined by their high-energy pup Redford.

The actress wore a trendy oversized, pale-dyed T-shirt she’d layered with a forest green windbreaker.

She rounded off her look by tucking her slender handles into a pair of Nike joggers that matched her black and white slip-on sneakers.
Collins laughed loudly as she and McDowell watched their persistent dog pull on his leash.
McDowell, who is the director of the 2014 fantasy drama The One I Love, wore a color-block quilted vest that he paired with black sweatpants, off-white sneakers and a ball cap.

Obviously, Collins was happy to turn 31 in front of the two boys she loves the most.
The star, after receiving an influx of birthday love on Instagram, took to the platform to not only thank fans for their kind words, but also encourage them to stay safe after the corona virus pandemic.
“This was definitely a strange time to celebrate [my birthday], “Lily began. “But we have to keep our heads through it.”
Grateful, But Worried: After an influx of birthday messages, Lily took to her Instagram page to thank her admiring fans and to emphasize the importance of practicing social distance.
Help: The 31-year-old took her activism a step further by encouraging her followers to support their local businesses that are ‘currently struggling’ due to coronavirus-related shutdowns
“Don’t forget to protect yourself and others by taking a social distance – even when you’re young and healthy – and be proactive by helping and staying inside the more vulnerable people around you.”
She then sent her followers to the Feeding America donation page so that people with extra money can lend a helping hand to “low-income families in need.”
Collins also encouraged people to make an effort to support their ‘local small businesses’.
