She wrote: ‘Hello Monday. 1 month to go for The Pillowman. I miss home, I miss my bubbas who are at summer camp, I haven’t even spoken to them in 2 weeks! tired and lonely, but the Banya always manages to get my blood flowing and lift my spirits.’

The singer recently appeared on This Morning alongside her co-star Steve Pemberton to discuss the production.
She said: ‘There’s a bit of violence in it. She is an artist and a writer and that is something I identify with. It definitely pushes the limits. He had a lot to take advantage of.
Lily, who is used to acting as a singer, said she likes the quiet nature of starring in a stage production.
She said: ‘I really like the grind of it all. I love being in one place. It’s nice not to get on a bus and move on to the next destination.’
The role is a serious undertaking for Lily, as she does not leave the stage for the duration of the play.
The Pillowman will be available for a limited time only and will end in early September.
