Camila Cabello spoke about her difficulties maintaining long-term relationships in the past.
When reflecting on her love life, the 27-year-old Havana singer admitted that after “a year and a half” she tends to have “a wandering gaze.”
“It’s also difficult in my industry because there are so many interesting people,” he told Star.
After confirming that she is single, the singer, who dated Shawn Mendes from 2019 to 2021 before briefly rekindling their romance last year, revealed that she has considered trying online dating.

“It definitely feels hard to meet people right now,” the Fifth Harmony alum said. “I ask myself, ‘Do I do the dating app thing?’ I don’t know, but then I think, ‘Am I too picky?’
Cabello went on to explain that she is “not a person with a culture of sexual relations.”
“If I don’t like you, if I don’t feel butterflies, it can’t just be a physical thing for me,” he said of what he looks for in a partner. ‘I need to think you’re funny, it has to be a personality thing. It can’t just be like, ‘I want to make out, so I’ll make out with you to make out.’
Previously, the four-time Grammy nominee was in a relationship with best-selling author Matthew Hussey for over a year together, before splitting in 2019.
Most recently, the artist sparked romance rumors with rapper Drake after they were spotted kissing together in the Caribbean.
During an appearance on Alex Cooper’s podcast earlier this month, Cabello opened up about her brief reconciliation with Mendes and her tropical getaway with Drake.
Despite showing off his PDA with the Mercy singer, 25, at Coachella last year, he realized he “didn’t fit in” with them.
‘Fortunately, I was at a point in my life where it took me less time to realize that. It took both of us less time to say, “This doesn’t feel right and we don’t really need to try as hard to make it work,” she explained.

‘Everything is alright. This doesn’t feel good. Let’s be friends. I love you, it’s all good, let’s move on, do your thing…become the person you’re becoming and I’ll support you,’ she said.
Speaking about their reconciliation, he called it a “fun moment.”
“I’m kind of impulsive in that sense, I would say. If I’m sorry, I say it, and I’m not very good at not doing it,” she said. “Then the worst place to live is my mind and then I’m like Ryan Gosling in The Notebook, building a house for this person.
“I would rather say it and see what happens, and then wake up the next day and find out that it has been widely documented,” he added.
“I chose that path. It is what it is. It was a great route, it was a fun time. “It was a fun moment.”
Although they are no longer together, she still spoke highly of her ex and praised him as a “good guy.”
‘I will always care about him and love him. He’s a good person and I’m lucky because some people have horrible exes and he doesn’t. “He is a very kind and good person,” he said.
He also talked about his trip to Turks and Caicos in December with Drake.
The duo was seen together jet skiing and having an intimate conversation at the popular Noah’s Ark Beach Club in the Turks and Caicos Islands in images obtained by Pop Crave.
‘First of all, I wouldn’t say ‘straight holiday’. It was vacation, more work,’ she said.

But he avoided answering a question about whether they had ever dated or not: “[Have I ever had a] beautiful artistic collaboration with him? She may or may not have done it.
Camila said the vacation was a “friends trip” and revealed how the two ended up together in the Caribbean.
The singer described how she listens to Drake’s melodies while writing her own music. She contacted him and asked if she wanted to listen to his new album.
“So we went out and I played him my album,” he said. “He loved it… It was also a very surreal moment for me to play my songs for Drake.”
‘It’s a dream. “I remember being there and being like, wow, this is so fucking sick and he’s so generous and so kind and… but anyway, I didn’t like just going on vacation with him,” she explained.
“It was like a vacation, a work thing. But I will honestly say that I love it. And that’s been a really fun part of this whole experience.”
