Lili Reinhart reveals she was able to bring her pooch Milo home after he contracted salmonella

Lili Reinhart revealed that her dog Milo was released from an animal hospital with a post shared on her Instagram story on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old actress posted a photo of her pet curled up in bed, and she added a text image to her image that read, “Baby is home.”

The performer’s dog had previously been detained in a medical facility after suffering suspected salmonella poisoning.

She added that her “dear angel boy has been in the hospital for over 24 hours now with what we suspect is salmonella poisoning.”

The Riverdale star’s puppy has been through quite a bit since she adopted him in 2020.

Months after the adoption, she had to rush him to emergency surgery after he was attacked by a dog she described as “10x his size.”

“He’s okay. He’s at my house. He had surgery,” she wrote on Instagram after the surgery. “He had a big wound on his head, so part of his head was shaved, and he also has a small stab wound here that has been stitched up.”

She remembered how ‘traumatizing it was for him and me’, even after the event.

“I’m not sure what caused that other dog to let go of its hold on my little baby, but it’s a miracle,” she continued. “And I’m so thankful that he’s all right and safe at home with me.”

Her series Riverdale’s sixth season came out last spring and her movie Plus/Minus is in post-production.

The film follows Natalie, played by Reinhart, as she envisions parallel realities, one where she becomes pregnant and moves to Texas and another where she moves to Los Angeles to pursue her professional dreams.

Hollywood star David Corenswet, Top Gun: Maverick actor Danny Ramirez and Legally Blonde actor Luke Wilson will also be seen in the film.
