Lil Nas X is impressed when he watches a video where Survivor alum makes a mosaic of him from RUBIK’S CUBES … amid the controversy over the hitmaker’s ‘Satan Shoes’

Lil Nas X posted a TikTok this week in which he marveled at a video of a woman making a mosaic of him from 441 Rubik’s cubes.

‘Wow!’ exclaimed the hitmaker, which was done by Survivor alumna Wendy Diaz, who holds the Guinness World Record for solving the most Rubiks cubes during the hula hoop.

Lil Nas X’s latest message came amid a huge controversy about selling Satan-themed shoes with human blood in them, while also shooting a music video in Hell.

The video was for his song MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) that also happened to play during his TikTok about Wendy’s artwork.

Wendy, who was the first Survivor contestant with Tourette’s, had posted accelerated footage showing the three-hour process of creating the mosaic.

After uploading his Tik Tok and hooking up her work, Wendy – a Rubik’s brand ambassador – again posted his praise and gushed that it was’ so f *** in ‘cool.’

Lil Nas X’s controversy started last week when he announced that he was selling 666 pairs of Nike Air Max 97 sneakers that were customized with a Satan theme.

He teamed up with the Brooklyn-based collective MSCHF to change the shoes – which also contain human blood from MSCHF employees.

The shoes are also decorated with: ‘Luke 10:18’ referring to the Gospel verse: ‘And he said to them, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.’

All 666 pairs of ‘Satan Shoes’, which still had the Nike logo, were priced at $ 1018 and sold out in less than a minute when they hit the market Monday.

Last week – just days before Palm Sunday – the singing star also released the MONTERO video showing him giving the devil a lap dance.

The uproar prompted some conservative Christians to boycott Nike, even though the brand did not approve the shoes.

On the day the shoes were released, Nike even filed a federal lawsuit against MSCHF, alleging that the Brooklyn company had infringed trademarks.

On White Wednesday, a judge banned the resale or shipment of the shoes – even though they had all been sold and most had been shipped.

The music video also received backlash from viewers who noted the visual similarity to the video for the 2019 FKA Twigs song Cellophane.

Lil Nas X responded by writing on Instagram, ‘I want to thank Twigs for calling and informing me about the similarities between the two videos as I didn’t know they were that close,’ explaining that the visual would be a great source of inspiration for those who contributed to the effects of my video. ‘

In return, FKA Twigs praised him on its Instagram page ‘for our friendly honest conversations and for acknowledging the inspiration that cellophane has given you and your creative team in creating your iconic video!’
