Lil Dicky has opened up to the Kelce brothers about his decision to give up tickets to the Eagles’ victory in Super Bowl LII, calling it “the best night of my life.”
The rapper, whose real name is Dave Burd, grew up near Philadelphia and had the opportunity to watch the Eagles take on the Patriots in the 2018 game.
Instead, as he told Jason and Travis in ‘new heights‘, returned home to watch the confrontation with his childhood friends.
“When I think about the best night of my life, it’s when you won the Super Bowl,” he said, speaking to Jason.
‘I turned down tickets to that game in Minnesota, so I could go home and watch it with my… high school friends. So we could all go out into the streets.’

Lil Dicky said he “saw people climbing poles” after the win, although he regrets having to leave town shortly after and miss the championship parade.
The 36-year-old is also the creator of the hit comedy show ‘Dave’ and spoke to the Kelce brothers about how he got Brad Pitt on board for season three.
Surprisingly, Burd had never met the Hollywood star before sending him a cold email, to which Pitt responded in a somewhat confusing manner.
“He responded to my email with a truly iconic response, metaphorically saying that he would be there, to the point where I didn’t know if it was real or a joke, or what… you have to see it appear to believe it. This is really going to happen ‘, said.
Once he was on set, Pitt was extremely generous with his time and filmed “four nights from 8pm to 7pm” for his episode, which focuses on a stalker of Lil Dicky.
‘You never know. He seems cool, but sometimes guys have characters that are really cool, and then you meet them and they’re shy or just not fun to hang out with,” Burd said. “This guy was the right guy and he was so nice to everyone in the set”.
He continued: “I’ve never felt like I’ve achieved more.” Brad Pitt is the LeBron, Michael Jordan of cinema. I sit with him on set and give him instructions and he respects my opinion and believes in my vision. There is never anything more rewarding for a filmmaker.

Burd also told Jason how often the former Eagles center had made him cry at the time.
Burd also shared with Jason that he often gets emotional over the legendary Eagles center, saying, “I don’t know any man who has made me cry more than you in the last five years.”
The rapper cited Jason’s famous Super Bowl parade speech, the ‘Kelce’ documentary and his emotional retirement speech last month as three occasions that brought out the waterworks.
‘Have you seen more men cry in public than us?’ Jason broke down.
After spending his entire 13-year career with the Eagles, the center hung up his cleats this offseason and announced his retirement in front of Travis and his wife, Kylie, among others.
Travis, meanwhile, won his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs and will return for one more season in Kansas City.
