Candice, married to cricket legend David Warner, is undoubtedly in the best shape of her life.
Her new personal trainer, women’s strength coach Annabelle Owen, recently shared details about the work Warner has been doing in the gym to achieve her optimal physique.
The cricket WAG turned media personality approached a colleague of Annabelle’s at Titan Fitness in March 2024 and hasn’t missed any of their three weekly sessions since.
“Candice doesn’t have a strength athletic background,” Annabelle told Daily Mail Australia in November.
“She’s mainly a runner and a surfer, so I was pretty impressed from day one because I didn’t expect her to be that strong.”
After “several months” of consistent training, Annabelle revealed that Candice is squatting 60kg.
‘As a busy working mother, like many of my clients, we keep their sessions super structured. They’re no longer than 45 minutes, so we keep it efficient.’
Candice trains three times a week, doing a lower body session on Monday, an upper body session on Tuesday, followed by a rest day and then a general body workout on Thursday: “So we’re working out everything (in the body) twice a day. week.’

The reason Candice sought out a strength coach “was mainly to have a structure with her routine and training.”
“Like most people, having a coach and something to show up for makes it easier to be consistent with your performances,” Annabelle said.
“It was also moving away from her usual training and what she was used to as an athlete, to focus more on getting strong.”
As a workout example, the trainer added that she often starts with a compound moment, whether it’s a squat, bench press, or deadlift, and then moves on to more isolated movements that could target Candice’s hamstrings, quads, triceps, and biceps. .
“We usually start with a larger movement first and then work our way up to smaller areas for individual muscle groups,” Annabelle continued.
‘We are trying to increase the weight in each session. My goal with (Candice) is to get good numbers on her squat bench press and I think that will make her feel really confident.’
As with any exercise, consistency is the key to improvement. But there is another component before that: “Enjoyment.”
“If you enjoy something, you’ll be consistent,” Annabelle added. “And whatever happens from there that looks good will just be a byproduct of that.”
